Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas provided legal advice to the InterAmerican Investment Corporation ("IDB Invest") in the financing granted to El Viajero Hostels. El Viajero Hostels is a hostel platform headquartered with regional presence in (i) Mexico; (ii) Colombia; (iii) Peru; (iv) Uruguay; and (v) Argentina. Currently, El Viajero Hostels owns 21 hostels regionally and expects to generate more than 930 by 2030.

Through this financing, El Viajero Hostels intends to strengthen its offer in all of the aforementioned jurisdictions and increase its participation in the lodging and tourism segment. Likewise, El Viajero Hostels will allocate a significant portion of the resources obtained through the financing in the adoption and intensification of its ESG agenda in the different locations where it currently operates.
