As a result of the state of emergency and as part of the measures taken to address the COVID-19 situation, on the afternoon of April 13, the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) published the virtual channels available during the health emergency for the request and formalization of the assignments of interests, rights, and obligations of the Hydrocarbon Exploration, Exploitation and Production businesses.

Applications must be filed digitally, with a referral letter and all relevant supporting documents, at the email admin.documental@anh.gov.co. The submitted documents must be digitally signed through mechanical signatures. Likewise, the information provided in a language other than Spanish must have an official translation and apostilled or legalized if necessary.

Once the ANH authorizes the assignment, the parties must digitally sign the corresponding amendment (scanned mechanical signatures), and once the contingency has been overcome, the handwritten subscription of the relevant documents will proceed at the date and time set by the ANH.
