Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas advised BBVA Securities Inc and Merrill Lynch on Banco de Occidente S.A. inaugural issuance of notes in the international capital markets for US$ 175 million at a rate of 10.875% with a maturity of 10.25 years due in 2034.

This transaction is of utmost importance as it refers to Banco de Occidente’ s first issuance of notes in the international capital markets as Tier 2 Capital Subordinated Notes.
