Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas had an outstanding participation in the first edition of The Legal 500 Colombia Awards 2024 being recognized as winner in four (4) different categories. These awards counted with the participation of the most important and prestigious firms in Colombia, and they highlighted both, the best practice areas, and the leading lawyers in the legal industry in 2023.

Among the awards conceded to Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas, the most outstanding were those granted to its Managing Partner, Bernardo Cardenas, who was recognized as "Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year" and the one granted to its partner Camilo Cortes, who was distinguished as "Tax Lawyer of the Year". These important recognitions not only praise the trajectory of these professionals, but also their level of impact in the practice areas that they currently lead.

In addition, Maria Margarita Lorduy and Nathalie Medina were acknowledged as “Rising Stars” regarding Environment and Tax categories, respectively.

Meanwhile, the judge committee consisted of the most reputable researchers of The Legal 500 internationally, and had the participation of senior researcher Tim Girven, who has been examining and researching the Colombian legal market and industry for more than 10 years.
