Julián is an associate in the Firm’s Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Mining, and Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice groups. He joined the Firm as a paralegal in 2012, working on corporate-related matters and providing pro bono legal assistance to disadvantaged individuals. Since he earned his law degree in 2014, he has counseled local and foreign clients on the incorporation of both for-profit and nonprofit legal entities and has drafted a wide variety of business agreements.
- Company: Acting as local counsel and drafted contracts required for the purchase of the assets of a Colombian company. Approximate amount of the transaction: US$3 million.
- Avantel S.A.S.: Acting as local counsel in the US$140 million financing granted by Overseas Private Investment Corporation for the refinancing of existing the debt, the financing of the 4G LTE network infrastructure, and other working capital needs.
