- Ad hoc committee of bondholders of Pacific Exploration and Production Corp.: Acting as local counsel to the ad hoc committee of the bondholders of Pacific Exploration and Production Corp. in the process of reorganization of the company’s debt for approximately US $5,300 million. On June 10, the Superintendence of Companies of Colombia, acting as reorganization court, recognized the foreign insolvency proceeding and approved the proposed Debtor-In-Possession financing along with its necessary securities. The implementation of the Debtor-In-Possession financing was also successfully completed.
- Global Geophysical: Counseling on the effects of its Colombian branch’s Chapter 11 proceedings. We assisted with the lifting of the preventive measures adopted by local creditors against the branch (Servicios Geofísicos Colombia) based on the Corpus Christi, Texas bankruptcy court’s ruling.
- Oster de Colombia, Banesco S.A., Triton Container International Limited, and Royal Unibrew A/S: Advising in connection with the status of their credits under their debtors’ current and potential restructuring proceedings.
